Complete Vacuum Before Dasara Weekend!

These days, the producers are in no mood to release their films during a free weekend. For some reason, they are selecting a date that is already occupied by a couple of films and making it even more congested. It happened on September 28th with a few films like 'Skanda', 'Chandramukhi 2', 'Pedha Kapu' and others coming on the same weekend. Recently, a bunch of small films like 'Rules Ranjann', 'MAD', 'Month Of Madhu', 'Mama Mascheendra' and others came out on October 6th.

With 'Bhagavanth Kesari', 'Leo', 'Tiger Nageswar Rao' and others releasing during the Dasara weekend, this weekend is left with complete vacuum. There are no notable releases this Friday and the films which are hitting the screens have no capacity to drag the audience into theatres. These movies are 'Thantiram – Chapter 1 Tales Of Sivakasi', 'Madhuapudi Gramam Ane Nenu', 'Rakshasa Rajyam', 'Prema Yuddham', 'Okkade No 1 Vekanna On Duty' and others are getting released. Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara's 'God' is releasing on the same day and it was already declared a flip in Tamil. There are few Hindi films with less-known actors releasing as well and they may get a show or two in the multiplexes.

Many are suggesting that some movies that came out on the 6th of October could have arrived on the 13th in order to avoid the unnecessary jam. The entire focus is on the Dasara releases now and the audience are also not ready to step into the theatres unless the biggies arrive. In the meanwhile, 'MAD' can attract the youth and make good profits for the next 10 days.
