Chiru & Balakrishna: Lessons Heroes Should Learn
Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are currently racing against time for a reason.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 19 Aug 2026 4:07 PM ISTMegastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are currently racing against time for a reason. While doing this, they are actually giving a big message to the next generation of heroes regarding the way they should plan movies and how they should honour commitment and stay dedicated to bringing movies on said dates. Here’s an interesting analysis.
Apparently, Megastar Chiranjeevi is celebrating his 71st birthday, not at home or at a holiday destination, but actually on the sets of his latest movies. He wants to make sure that his #Mega158, which is being directed by KS Bobby, is released on the eve of Sankranthi 2027 at any cost. On the other hand, despite not having recovered from his injury and surgery yet, even Nandamuri Balakrishna, the 66-year-old star, is planning #NBK111 quite packed schedules, such that it would come either in December 2026 or in early January.
When two big, senior and aged stars are working that hard, many are wondering why other Tier 1 heroes who are in their 40s are struggling to wrap the schedules as planned and bring the movies to theatres. On average, every year we are seeing at least one release from these big stars, while the others in the same league are taking more than 2 years to bring one film. Should they not learn the lessons from the senior stars?
