400 Crores+ At Stake: Can Dil Raju pull it off?

Dil Raju is the biggest name in the Telugu film industry when it comes to film production and distribution. He is next to none when it comes to setting up big projects or giving a big release to big event films that are shot on a lavish scale. But even by Dil Raju's standards, he appears to be outdoing himself with the kind of pumping up he is doing this Sankranthi season.

Dil Raju first has Game Changer which is set for release this Sankranthi season. Considering the scale of the production and the delays associated with it, there are conservative estimates that this film might have cost Dil Raju in the vicinity of Rs 300 crores at the very least, including the remunerations and stuff.

Then again, Dil Raju has another film in the form of Sankranthiiki Vastunnam which is also gearing up for release this Sankranthi season. It marks the coming together of Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi. It is getting a sizeable release as well, this Sankranthi season.

We then have Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daku Maharaj which is again set for release this Sankranthi season. Dil Raju is ditrubting this film in the Nizam region and related agreements are done already.

In that case, Dil Raju might have spread at least Rs 100 crores across the distribution of the Balakrishna starrer and the production of the Venkatesh starrer. This way, Dil Raju isn't just touching Konidela, Nandamuri and Daggubati heroes this Sankranthi, but he is also pumping up in the vicinity of Rs 400 crore cumulatively on these films. This is a tally beyond all measure, and Dil Raju really needs to pull it off big time.
