Double Headache For Dil Raju: What Next?

Dil Raju is one of the senior most producers in the Telugu film industry and he has a big league outing in the form of Game Changer which is releasing in theaters on the 10th of January. This is the costliest film in his career thus far and there is a lot of money involved with this one.

However, things are not looking straightforward for Dil Raju as he has a couple of headaches to deal with when it comes to Game Changer.

Firstly, it is Balakrishna's Daku Maharaj in Telugu which is directly clashing with Game Changer. This Balayya starrer is releasing in close vicinity with Game Changer this Sankranthi season and it will walk away with a sizeable chunk of the audience which is not what is expected or desired for a pan Indian biggie.

Then comes the bigger problem in Tamil where Game Changer is directly clashing with Vidaa Muyachi which has Ajith in the lead role. This film is a big deal in Tamil and it is surely set to eat into the prospects og Game Changer.

Ajith's film will easily walk away with the lion's share of the theaters in Tamil Nadu and this will mean that Game Changer will have a constrained release. What should have been an advantageous ground for Shankar and Charan in Tamil might get overpowered by Ajith now.

So essentially speaking, Game Changer has reasonably adverse situations in both Telugu states and also the Tamil market. But the advantage here is that the film is releasing ahead of other Sankranthi biggies making it the first choice for the audience.

If Shankar delivers a winner with this one, then Ram Charan will take care of the rest with his box office pull. This is exactly what Dil Raju will be hoping for at the moment.
