Interesting Small Films Clashing In September

Finally, the long-pending film of Sithara Entertainment, Anand Devarakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s EPIC, whose shoot got wrapped almost a year ago, is finally getting released.

Producer Naga Vamsi locked September 11th as the release date, just a month after his Viswanath & Sons release. Surely the 11th is a good date, as Ganesh Chaturthi falls on four days later. Here’s the new update, however.

As Sithara Vamsi is likely to release Karthi’s Sardar 2 on 11th of September, it’s coming out that he wants to advance the release date of Akhil to 4th of the month. On the very same date, already the likes of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s production venture Romanchikam, Allari Naresh’s latest outing Rambha Urvasi Menaka are also hitting cinemas.

Even Mythri Movie Makers is also jumping into the fray, as they are bringing their cringe comedy Donga Na Koduku for a release on the same day, which features Little Hearts fame Mouli as the lead.

Many are wondering why a lot of these small films are actually locking horns in the first week of September. The next week would have provided them Ganesh Chaturdhi advantage big time.
