TN CM 2026: Vijay’s GOAT Number Plate Moment

Back then in 2024, when Venkat Prabhu made the film “GOAT”, The Greatest Of All Time, featuring Vijay in the lead in a dual role, a particular scene created a sensation. Inside the movie, Vijay’s character drives the car that has the number plate “TN 07 CM 2026”, which many felt that they are giving some political clues that Vijay will enter into the mainstream Tamil politics and will become a Chief Minister. Ever since Vijay’s TVK won the election, this scene has been trending online already.

Sharing the pictures of him meeting Vijay, and gifting him that very same nameplate used in the movie, Venkat Prabhu wrote on X.com, “A history is made. From a thought to a vision to this moment. Happy to have met our honourable CM @TVKVijayHQ na today and present the very first manifestation of #GOAT. This is only the beginning. TN07CM2026.”

Back during GOAT’s release itself, the “TN07 CM 2026” registration had become a discussion point because it looked like a direct political hint toward the 2026 Tamil Nadu elections. At that time, many brushed it off as a fan service from Venkat Prabhu. Now that it turned out to be real, many are awestruck and some are shocked. Anything can happen in cinema and politics, that’s the whole point.
