An Iconic Moment As Icon Star Receives National Award!

It has been a complete domination of the Telugu film industry at the 69th National Awards ceremony. As the honorable President Of India Draupadi Murmu gave the prestigious awards to all the deserving winners, it was a delightful and proud moment to see Allu Arjun receiving the award in the Best Actor category for his superb performance in 'Pushpa: The Rise'.

This is an iconic moment in Telugu cinema as Allu Arjun becomes the first Telugu actor to receive this prestigious award. Dressed in a classy white ethnic outfit, Allu Arjun stepped onto the stage to massive applause. It was a great moment to cherish for Tollywood fans and it was followed by another humongous round of applause when Rajamouli went to the stage to receive the National Award for 'RRR' in the Best Picture category.

As Allu Arjun's wife Sneha Reddy and father Allu Aravind watched with pride, the star hero was extremely happy to make history. Allu Arjun was seen in good spirits throughout as he recorded the complete video of his darling music composer Devi Sri Pasad receiving the National Award. The happiness can be seen in his eyes. He even cheered for all the winners from 'RRR' team. It was a great moment for every Telugu movie lover and one can only hope for things to go upwards from here on.

Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the Best Actress award. 'RRR' won the National Award in the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment category while Madhavan's 'Rocketry' won the Best Feature Film Award. The other Telugu technicians who won the National Awards include MM Keeravani, Devi Sri Prasad, Chandrabose, King Soloman, Prem Rakshith, Srinivas Mohan, Kaala Bhairavaa and Mythri Movie Makers team.
