Rangasthalam Sequel: Will It Really Happen?

All of India is now cheering up the second part of Pushpa, which is going absolutely bonkers at the global box office and particularly in the domestic Hindi markets. Sukumar has certainly put his name in the pan India conundrum with this film.

Now the active discussion on social media is about Sukumar’s upcoming film with Ram Charan, which is in early stage stages of production for now.

There is an ongoing social media that Sukumar has scripted the sequel for Rangasthalam for his next film with Ram Charan. Apparently, Sukumar is contemplating the sequel for blockbuster Rangasthalam, which already has an enormous premise and the needed substance for a sequel.

This social media report has caught on quite well already, and people are actively debating about the same. However, this is a bleak possibility for the time being and there’s no official word on the same thus far.

While it is confirmed that Sukumar will be working with Ram Charan for his next film, there is no reliable update on whether or not, this film will actually be the sequel for Rangasthalam.

The idea of making this equal might sound lucrative on the paper, but there are a fair bit of logical issues associated with the same. The characters and premise of the film might be a bit to generic and dated for the contemporary audience.

Moreover, Rangasthalam is regarded as a classic film in the commercial space. Now making this sequel for this film. After all these years will add additional baggage on the prospect, and there is a chance this could go horribly wrong.

For now, we have to wait out an official confirmation from the makers of the Ram Charan and Sukumar film. Coincidentally, this film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers who earlier made Rangasthalam and Pushpa with Sukumar.
