It only happened once when 'Nannaku Prematho' competed with 'Dictator' in 2016. While NTR came out as the winner at that time, it took a huge toll on both the movies. Balakrishna and NTR never faced each other again but sources say that it may happen once again in 2024.

The shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna's 109th film began today under Bobby's direction. Sources claim that the makers are planning to finish the shooting at a rapid pace and release the movie on 29th March 2024 in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Balayya's blockbuster film 'Legend'. While this is great to hear, the senior Nandamuri hero has to face NTR's 'Devara' which is coming out on 5th April. The team of 'Devara' announced this date at the beginning of this year and they are confirming it on every poster.

NTR is a pan-Indian hero now with a huge market across the nation. 'Devara' is being made on a massive budget and there are huge expectations on this Koratala Siva directorial. On the other hand, Balayya is riding high on the success of 'Bhagavanth Kesari'. He scored hat-trick hits and fans have high hopes on 'NBK109'. If the 'Akhanda' hero's film decides to hit the screens on 29th March, we may witness an enormous Nandamuri clash. With differences between the two heroes extending beyond movies, the competition is going to get spicier.
