The much-awaited sequel Queen 2, starring Kangana Ranaut, has landed in legal trouble even before its release. The film has already completed shooting and is now in the post-production stage. However, a fresh court case has created uncertainty about its release.

The first Queen, released in 2014, was a huge success. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie won praise from both audiences and critics. It was known for its strong story about a woman's journey of self-confidence and independence. The film also helped Kangana Ranaut earn national recognition and became one of the biggest hits of her career.

Now, Vikas Bahl has directed Queen 2, and fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the sequel. But just when everything seemed to be going smoothly, a major legal dispute came into the spotlight.

According to reports, Phantom Studios has filed a Rs. 250 crore lawsuit in the Bombay High Court against JioStar. The company claims that Queen 2 was made without its permission. Phantom Studios says it owns a 50 percent share in the intellectual property rights of the original Queen movie. It also argues that these rights include permission for future sequels.

Reports say Phantom Studios first tried to solve the issue through discussions with JioStar and director Vikas Bahl. The company even released a public statement in April this year. However, after the talks failed and it learned that the film's shooting had been completed, Phantom Studios decided to approach the court.

So far, neither JioStar nor director Vikas Bahl has released an official statement about the allegations. Because of this, there is a lot of curiosity in the film industry about how the case will move forward.

Although the post-production work on Queen 2 is still continuing, many are wondering if the legal issue will delay the film's release. If the court proceedings become more complicated, the release date could be postponed. However, no official decision has been announced yet.

Kangana Ranaut's fans are hoping that the legal dispute will be settled soon so that Queen 2 can arrive in theatres as planned. Until then, all eyes are on the court and the makers of the film.
