Don't Waste This Opportunity Koratala
After waiting with the hope that Jr NTR might greenlight his Devara 2, Koratala Siva literally waited for 2 years, but then it came out that there is no chance of that.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 4 July 2026 4:03 PM ISTAfter he turned to direction with “Mirchi”, writer Koratala Siva emerged as one of the promising talents in Tollywood. Later, he has carved out movies like Janatha Garage, Bharat Ane Nenu and Srimanthudu, and all of them worked out. However, when he started making films like Acharya and Devara, people lost hope in his writing skills. He made very pale characters, unbelievable and illogical stories, and the films won him lots of trolling. Here’s the golden chance, however.
After waiting with the hope that Jr NTR might greenlight his Devara 2, Koratala Siva literally waited for 2 years, but then it came out that there is no chance of that. Though Devara made some good collections owing to Jr NTR’s craze after an adrenaline-rushing performance in RRR, Koratala Siva failed as writer-director with that movie, as most of the scenes and ideas sounded old, illogical and abstract. Now that he has a chance to direct Balakrishna in #NBK112 and the senior star hero is in super form, Koratla shouldn’t waste this opportunity.
Currently, even average content when delivered with Nandamuri Balakrishna has the potential to become crores of rupees revenue-getter at the box office. So Koratala Siva should think about utilising this chance well, as he is making a political action thriller with Balayya and shouldn’t be making some routine scenes like in his last two films. Also, with Balayya’s image at its peak, Koratala shouldn’t get things wrong.
