Talented film maker, Koratala Siva has fallen back in the pan India race as the likes of Rajamouli and Trivikram have clearly moved ahead of him. But things are not looking very promising for him, as he does not have too many projects in hand. But the good thing is that NTR has reportedly committed to Devara 2 with Koratala soon.

Siva, who has been waiting on Devara 2 because Jr NTR is busy with Dragon, hasn’t wasted time during the break. With NTR’s schedule tied up, Siva has completed two new scripts and is actively planning his next moves.

One of the scripts has already been narrated to veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, and if he likes it, that film could become Koratala Siva’s next directorial after he wraps up Devara 2. This potential project would also mark the 113th film for Balakrishna, which is a milestone in the actor’s long career.

Aside from that, Siva has another ready script intended for a young hero, though he hasn’t decided who will lead that film yet. He’s waiting to discuss it with suitable young stars based on their availability and upcoming commitments.

Rather than taking long breaks, Koratala wants to keep working continuously, aiming to start back-to-back films as soon as the lead actors are free.

Meanwhile, production on Devara 2 is expected to begin in the second half of 2026 once NTR finishes Dragon, and the sequel is being positioned for a release sometime next year.

It has to be seen in which young Hero would be ready to work with Siva at this point in time, considering his seniority. But considering the commercial touch of the star filmmaker, he might not find it too hard to set up his next project if he comes with the right script.
