A year after marriage, Lavanya Tripathi returns to acting

It is already known that talented actress, Lavanya Tripathi got married to Konidela Varun Tej back in November 2023. The couple had been spending some quality time together as they were often seen vacationing in foreign countries and enjoying this new phase of life.

Coming to the topic now nearly a year after the marriage, Lavanya is said to be returning to acting as she has reportedly signed a new film in which she will be seen alongside Malayalam actor Dev Mohan.

This film is going to be directed by Tatineni Satya and here’s what he had to say about the film in a media interview.

“I wanted someone who is a performer, yet a familiar face. I have seen her films, and she nailed all the characters. Moreover, she too got married recently, so I thought she could better connect to the plot. When I narrated the script, she flagged it off instantly in one sitting, she just doesn't want to let go of this script."

Adding further, the director said "Relationship and romantic dramas are all about getting the onscreen chemistry right. I wanted a fresh pair to give the narrative a new appeal. I had seen Dev's films, and when I met him, he looked very fresh. He was equally excited when I bounced the plotline.”

This film is going to kickstart the production very soon, and this will mark the return of Lavanya to acting. It is primarily established that the actress does not want to rush things up, and she will be doing films only selectively from now on.

Lavanya and Varun are currently enjoying the new stage of their life as they appear to be in an absolute state of exhilaration in each other’s company. In the meanwhile, they are also keeping pace with their professional commitments. Varun had already returned to acting, and now it is the turn of Lavanya to do the same.
