After Marriage Lavanya Tripathi Returns with a Bang!

Lavanya Tripathi, who debuted and got her big break in 2012 with the movie Andala Rakshasi, took a significant break after her marriage to mega-hero Varun Tej in Italy on November 1. The last time she appeared was in the film Happy Birthday in 2022, two years ago, and now she is making her re-entry into the Telugu film industry.

According to sources, she is set to star in a heroine-oriented movie titled Sathi Leelavathi, where a young boy will act opposite her. Previously, she appeared in the OTT web series Miss Perfect, where a young actor, Abijeet, played her opposite. However, that series did not achieve the fame she expected, and she had a character with OCD issues, reflecting her obsession with cleanliness.

Earlier, Kamal Haasan starred in the same movie titled Sathi Leelavathi, released in 1995. This Indian Tamil-language comedy film was directed, co-written, photographed, and edited by Balu Mahendra.

It features Ramesh Aravind, Kalpana, and Heera, along with Kovai Sarala and Kamal Haasan in supporting roles. The film revolves around Arun (Aravind), who, unhappy with his wife Leelavathi's (Kalpana) plain looks and weight, engages in an extramarital affair with Priya (Heera). While it was a family film, it is not directly related to Lavanya's upcoming project.
