All Doors Closed For Shankar Now?

Maverick Director Shankar was once one of the most celebrated directors in the history of Indian cinema, and this is largely due to the fact that he made classical blockbusters of epic proportion.

However, things are looking extremely volatile and disruptive for him as all of his recent films have bombed at the ticket counters. His most recent film was with Ram Charan, and it turned out to be one of the biggest disasters in recent years.

Considering the fact that Shankar wasted 2 1/2 years of the prime time of Charan’s carrier after RRR, his reputation and legacy took a massive beating with this film. The general perception was that he absolutely wasted the time and efforts of Charan with his lethargic approach and shabby attitude.

As if this wasn’t enough, Shankar had even meddled with Indian 2. The fact that he put Charan film on hold to briefly work on Indian showed that he did not operate on professional grounds either.

All things said and done. It is now being reported that Shankar has virtually no project at hand and he is said to be in a very tricky position. After seeing the kind of business management, that was done with Game Changer, it’s said that Shankar does not have any big project at hand, and he is completely in crossroads.

There are theories and reports that Shankar is not likely to work with any other star Hero in the near future, as no one is daring enough to give their peak dates to him.
