Balakrishna-Koratala Film Titled ‘Carpenter’?

#NBK112 was already announced as a collaboration between Nandamuri Balakrishna and ace director Koratala Siva, who hasn’t even come before the media after the release of “Devara”. After waiting in Jr NTR’s compound for more than a year, Koratala has finally teamed up with Balakrishna for a template-driven commercial action film. Right now, there are some rumours coming up on the title, and they speak volumes about the movie’s story.

Inspired by Vijayawada’s gang wars of the 80s, and how some of the prominent politicians and powerful communists started their careers from a mechanic shed, earlier, Koratala Siva has come up with the movie “Janata Garage”. It’s looking like KOratala Siva has come up with another such story where the protagonist starts off as a carpenter, goes on building big things, and from his own carpentry factory, he starts operating a parallel government. Guess what, the director is planning to name the film “Carpenter” for the same reason. However, those who are watching Nandamuri Balakrishna’s films that are titled with English words are advising the director to reconsider such attempts.

Though the film titled “Legend” clicked, other titles like “Ruler” and “Dictator” failed. When such elevational titles failed, how would “Carpenter” do justice is the question for them. However, with changing times, probably Koratala might have thought this title would work. Hopefully, he should have carved a better story first, as any title would do, as long as Balakrishna is the leading man of the film.
