By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Feb 2025 4:39 PM ISTOne of the active producers in Telugu cinema, SKN is usually not short of controversies and attention, grabbing comments. He did the same at a film promotional event recently as he said he and his director Sai Rajesh have understood the repercussions of introducing Telugu heroines, and that is why they have decided to work only with no Telugu heroines from now on.
SKN did not necessarily name anyone or the finger at anyone single heroine. It was quickly analysed that he had indirectly targeted young actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya.
This argument caught the attention on social media as people started to spread multiple reports in this regard. But at the heart of it, there was no official indication or reference to the actress, nor did SKN pinpoint his comment towards any particular person. So he has taken the occasion now to clear up the controversy for once and for all.
“Hi everyone, Namaste. I am one of the few producers who have introduced Many Telugu actresses to the industry. A lighthearted comment I made recently was misunderstood, leading to unnecessary headlines with incorrect meanings.
To clarify, I have introduced 8 talented individuals to the industry so far and am set to introduce 25 more Talented Telugu girls across 4-5 different crafts in cinema through my next and upcoming films. Supporting and promoting Telugu talent has always been my priority. So Please do not spread any misinformation. Thanks and regards” he clarified.
SKN further revealed that he is going to introduce 25 more Telugu girls to the Telugu film industry in the days to follow. He is evidently shocked by the kind of controversy that had happened surrounding his earlier comment.
