Rakul Preet's Big Bollywood Movie Sequel Shooting Starts

Bollywood fans rejoice! Rakul Preet Singh is back on set filming the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 romantic comedy De De Pyaar De. The actress, who recently married producer Jackky Bhagnani, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse on her Instagram stories, showing her prepping with a script in hand. The caption simply read, "Back to my fav set!! DDPD 2 Begins."

De De Pyaar De 2 was officially announced by T-Series in March, with a target release date of May 1st, 2025. The film reunites Rakul with her De De Pyaar De co-star Ajay Devgn, and will be directed by Anshul Sharma. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg are producing, with a screenplay by Tarun Jhalori and Luv Ranjan. Filming began this June after Ajay Devgn completed work on his other projects, Singham Again and Raid 2.

While De De Pyaar De 2 is sure to be a highlight, Rakul Preet also has another big release on the horizon this year. She'll be starring alongside Kamal Haasan in the highly awaited Indian 2.
