Charan drops major Peddi update from London

Far away from Hyderabad and the film sets, Global star Ram Charan surprised fans from London with a bold statement. While unveiling his wax statue at Madame Tussauds, the actor didn�t hold back when asked about his next biggie, Peddi. �We�ve finished 30 percent of the shoot. It will be better than Rangasthalam,� Charan declared, instantly fuelling massive buzz among fans and trade circles alike.

Peddi, directed by Uppena fame Buchibabu Sana, is shaping up as a rustic, emotional action drama backed by three powerful banners � Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings, and Mythri Movie Makers. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while Shivarajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma round out a strong supporting cast. With AR Rahman on board for music, the film has already made waves with its title and first-look reveal.

Initially, comparisons popped up online, with some claiming Charan�s rugged look resembled Allu Arjun�s in Pushpa or Yash�s in KGF. But the Sri Ramanavami glimpse, especially that final slow-motion shot, silenced critics. His fierce screen presence clicked with not only Mega fans but also neutral viewers, lifting expectations for the film.

Now with Charan calling Peddi a step above Rangasthalam, all eyes are back on the sets. For fans, the London statue was nice � but this unexpected update has become the real highlight of the trip.
