Life doesn’t always roll out smooth, some parts feel like scenes you wish you could skip, but you still go through them anyway. That’s how Ramya Krishna looks back at a few moments in her life. The actress who’s ruled big screens from Padayappa to Baahubali finally opened up about her marriage, her struggles, and even those little stories that fans never heard. On Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, sitting across from her old friend Jagapathi Babu, she let the mask drop a bit, and what came out was just real talk.

Ramya spoke freely about her relationship with director Krishna Vamsi. She said their connection actually started with a song, “Meghalalo”, and somehow turned into something deeper and more complicated. It wasn’t a dreamy love story, she laughed, we were best friends who fought a lot but understood each other. She said both of them had strong opinions, so clashes were normal, but what kept them together was mutual respect. For her, marriage was never about perfect romance, it was about patience and growing together, even when things got messy.

Then came a more emotional turn. She spoke about Narasimha, the hit film with Rajinikanth and the late Soundarya. There was one scene, she said, where she had to step on Soundarya’s face, a moment she absolutely hated doing. I told them I didn’t want to do it, she said, but the director and Soundarya both convinced me. Right after the scene, she went up to Soundarya and apologized. That tiny story shut down years of rumours about tension between them. She remembered Soundarya fondly, calling her a pure soul and said her loss still feels unreal even today.

By the end, Ramya got a bit philosophical. She said she doesn’t believe in crying over what’s gone. I live in the moment, she said with a half-smile, and try to be happy where I am. It was one of those talks that remind you she’s not just a screen legend, she’s a woman who’s been through it all, owned it, and somehow still laughs through the chaos.
