Does Charan Need Sukumar’s Film Now?

Ram Charan has now delivered “Peddi”, and the film has its own share of brickbats and appreciations, while the hero’s performance is unanimously appreciated by all quarters. Now that the rural drama quota is over, the mega hero should move to director Sukumar’s movie, and many are wondering what is actually cooking with that. And some are asking if the hero needs this film.

Well, in the first place, we cannot put Sukumar in a category and say that Ram Charan doesn’t need that movie right now. Sukumar is the director who first narrated Pushpa to Mahesh Babu, but later he went to Allu Arjun, and the rest is history. So, the director knows what type of content he should carve out with Charan, especially when they are uniting almost a decade after the Rangasthalam movie. At the same time, some advice Charan to take up directors like Prashanth Neel or Sandeep Reddy Vanga to deliver some adrenaline-rushing movies. However, without having such directors in his pocket, the hero has already delivered what is needed.

What’s fair to expect is that Charan and Sukumar should come up with something new and something that the whole of India will talk about. Because Sukumar is the kind of filmmaker who could engage the audience big time even if he throws logic to the dumps at times. Currently these two are the best bet that could happen, with all other directors busy with their respective ventures. Hope the film starts soon.
