Not Balakrishna, THIS Star Hero to Play Sri Krishnadevaraya

The legendary king Sri Krishnadevaraya who played a pivotal role in the history of the Vijayanagara Empire is an iconic figure in Telugu culture. Many still remember the portrayal of this character in films like Aditya 369, where actor Nandamuri Balakrishna brought him to life with great grandeur. Now, there’s news that Kantara star Rishab Shetty may step into the shoes of this historical figure. According to credible sources, renowned Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker known for his classic films like Lagaan and Jodhaa Akbar is working on a script for this film. After a long break from direction Gowariker is reportedly back with this ambitious project, and Shetty is expected to play the role of Sri Krishnadevaraya.

Rishab Shetty’s career has been on the rise with his role in Kantara becoming a major hit and his upcoming movie Jai Hanuman also creating waves. Additionally, he has bagged the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in a pan-India film.
