During promotions for his latest OTT release Aap Jaisa Koi, now streaming on Netflix, Madhavan got candid in an interview. The film features him as Shrirenu Tripathi, a quiet Sanskrit professor, and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Madhu Bose, a lively French teacher.
When asked what surprises him the most about the industry, Madhavan didnt hold back. He said, Every two years, people say Bollywood is finished, that its dead. The same happens with Kollywood too. He pointed out how quickly people jump to conclusions about the industry's downfall, even though it keeps bouncing back.
A lot of people agreed with what Madhavan said. Its true, social media tends to blow things out of proportion, especially when it comes to the film industrys ups and downs.
Up next, Madhavans schedule is packed. Hes shooting for De De Pyaar De 2, Dhurandhar, and several other exciting projects.
