This Sankranti season was always expected to be a super busy one for Tollywood with multiple new film films lined up for release, namely Game Changer, Daku Maharaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Interestingly enough, these three films have set a unique record and here is looking into the story behind the same.

Interestingly, all the three Sankranti films that are mentioned above, have managed to collect over rupees 100 crore gross at the box office. Usually, we see to out of the three Sankranti releases, reaching the hundred crore market at the box office. However, this time around all three of the films that released this festival season have reached this club.

Comparatively Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is the biggest benefactor here in terms of costs involved and theatrical returns reported. Next comes Daku Maharaj which also had pretty steep production values and pretty much needed 100 crore gross at the box office.

Coming to Game Changer, though the Ram Charan film collected over rupees hundred crore gross, this is simply not enough, considering the massive costs that are involved. This is Ram Charan‘s immediate next film after RRR, and it was always projected to do far more than what it actually did.

Nevertheless, this unique record of all three Sankranti films grossing over ₹100 crore at the box office does not happen very usually, and this is a sight to behold.

With the crucial Sankranti season wrapped up, the theatre allocation is changing rapidly with the majority of theatres being allocated to Sankranthiki Vasthunnam which is the best forming film of the lot.

It must be said that the Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi film will enjoy an extended run at the box office, considering the kind of reception it is getting from the family audience.
