The character of introduction video of Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama from magnum opus 'Kalki 2898 AD' has been released recently and it was highly impressive. The top-notch technical quality has astonished a lot of people and the video generated a lot of hype on the movie. Apart from the taking and visuals, people are talking how the younger version of Amitabh Bachchan was showcased.

Big B is nearing his 80s but the makers succeeded in creating a younger version of the legendary actor. His look was so realistic that people wondered if it was played by another person who looked similar to a young Amitabh. As it turns out, the team made wonderful use of VFX and the de-aging technology. We see this quite vividly being used in Hollywood films.

This technique is majorly used to give a youthful appearance to older actors when they want to narrate a flashback of that character. In the video too, we saw a younger Amitabh who had battle wounds on his face and the young look was almost flawless as proper attention was given to the details starting from battle scars to skin texture.

These visuals are giving a lot of hope for big stars like Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Kamal Haasan and others who is in their sixties and seventies. They can be seen a bit younger than usual which will help them in playing more versatile roles. But the VFX needs to be done properly as we saw what might happen if things go bad in a movie like 'Acharya'. Let us see how things turn out in the coming days.
