Shruti Haasan Breaks Silence On Epic Clash of Coolie - War 2 War

The buzz around Coolie and War 2 releasing on the same day isn’t dying down anytime soon. With Legendary Rajinikanth and Tollywood firestorm NTR Jr. going head-to-head at the box office, fans have turned it into a virtual face-off. But Shruti Haasan, who plays a crucial role in Coolie, isn’t interested in the hype. She called it “normal,” saying she’s seen such overlaps plenty of times before.

She recalled how Salaar, another of her films, was released alongside Dunki. “It happened then, too. What can actors do? Release dates are the producers’ decision,” she said. Shruti also made a point, if both films are good, people will find a way to watch them. The audience isn’t choosing sides like before.

Coolie has an ensemble cast featuring not just Rajinikanth and Shruti but also names like Akkineni Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Aamir Khan. Pooja Hegde joins in with an item number. It’s a wide release across languages. War 2, on the other hand, is bringing Hrithik Roshan and NTR together in a full-scale action drama.

Shruti didn’t pick favorites. Instead, she pushed the conversation back to the people buying the tickets. “Both films are big in their own way,” she said. Whether it’s a clash or not depends less on release dates, and more on what happens in theatres that weekend.
