Thalapathy Vijay & Danayya Movie Not Happening?

We are seeing a lot of Tollywood producers stepping into Kollywood these days. Mythri Movie Makers, Sithara Entertainments, People Media Factory, Asian and others have already started to establish themselves with medium and big budget films from last year. Dil Raju produced 'Varisu' with Vijay and Mythri Movie Makers are now making a film with Ajith. Big producer DVV Danayya too planned to do the same as there was a lot of talk about Vijay's last film before his entry into politics being bankrolled under the DVV Entertainments banner.

The 'RRR' producer did not deny this news which made everyone think that this project was on. The latest talk in Chennai suggests that Danayya is going to leave the project. Apparently, Vijay's hefty paycheque and demands regarding the director and story have made Danayya take this decision and silently walk away from the movie. Though there is no official confirmation regarding this news, there is no smoke without fire in such situations.

Vijay is adamant about entering politics and he wants his last movie to aid his political entry as per reports. He liked H Vinoth's story a lot. Currently, he is working on Venkat Prabhu's 'Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)'. The shooting is going on at a brisk pace and it will be wrapped up in the next 2-3 months as per reports. Apart from Vinoth, there are a few other directors who narrated stories to Vijay as well but none of them materialized. We need to wait for some more time to know if Danayya really walked out of the project or is it just a rumor.
