'Tillu Square' Joins The Prestigious Club!

There was a time when sequels for hit films are considered bad luck in Tollywood. Till 'Baahubali' arrived, second parts of successful movies have never managed to get commercial glory. Starting from 'Money' franchise to 'Arya', none of them had hit sequels. But things changed after 'Baahubali' arrived as people are making more sequels and dividing the story into two parts.

The recently released 'Tillu Square' joins the club of hit sequels. The first movie 'DJ Tillu' arrived and became a blockbuster in 2022. People fell in love with 'Tillu' character and hero Siddu Jonnalagadda worked very hard on the script of 'Tillu Square'. After a couple of postponements, the movie released last weekend. Due to the delays and the makers maintaining silence before the release, many predicted that the movie might not be up to the mark.

But the movie reached all the expectations set by the audience and entertained everyone. The one-liners and funny antics from Siddu made sure that the second part is a bigger hit than the first film. Now, it joined the list of hit sequels like 'Baahubali 2', 'KGF 2', 'Bangarraju', 'Drushyam 2' and 'Karthikeya 2'. All these films succeeded and it looks like the team of 'Tillu' franchise are looking to make a third part too. Let us wait and see if it happens or not.

Anupama Parameswaran is the heroine in this movie while Ram Miryala is the music composer. Bheems Ceciroleo is giving the background score and there are many noted actors in this film directed by Mallik Ram.
