Tollywood @ Dasara 2025: Mega Clash On The Way

As we have reported earlier, the Dasara season is usually very lucrative for Tollywood at the box office. In the past, we have seen several films that have worked extremely well during the season, which is a long holiday season in the Telugu states.

In tune, with this, we could be witnessing a handful of big films arriving in theatres during Dasara 2025 season and here is a look into the story behind the same.

The principal point to be noted is that Kannada film Kantara Chapter 1 had already locked the Dasara season. This is a big pan Indian film that comes with a serious sequel advantage. Adding to that the Sankranti season is very prospective for Kannada films, and the chances are that this film will stick to this date, no matter what.

Then there are reports that Ram Charan is also contemplating the idea of arriving Dasara season with his upcoming film RC 16. After having tested failure, this Sankranti season with Game Changer, Charan will be hoping to make a comeback this year itself in the form of this Buchi Babu film. The shooting is also happening at a healthy rate, and if everything goes as planned, this film might actually make it to the theatre this Dasara.

Then there is Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is also in the scheme of things with his upcoming film Akhanda 2. The makers of this film had also announced that it is principally lined up for release this Dasara festival season. Sai Dharam Tej has also lined up his film Sambarala Eti Gattu is arriving this Dasara season, it can be noted.

Amidst all this high intense clashing situation, we are hearing that Prabha is also looking to have this Dasara festival season. Apparently, his Raja Saab, which got postponed from April 10 is lining up this Dasara season and the makers are contemplating the idea of releasing the film during the festival season to cash in on the festival advantage.

If this is the case, then there could be a chance that we will have five films arriving in close vicinity during this Dasara festival season and all of them could be releasing in a span of 20 days. This is going to be a frenzy kind of a situation during the festival season at the ticket counters.
