Why Tollywood Stars Not Reducing Remuneration?

Tollywood is known for producing some of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Indian cinema and has the consistent track record of films that were big time at the box office. In accordance with this, the superstar charge exuberant remunerations as they are paid handsomely for their contributions.

However, there are these few underperforming stars in Telugu cinema who have been charging massive remunerations, despite the fact that not many of the recent films have worked at the box office.

In this context, we have Ravi Teja, who is reportedly charging in the range of ₹20 crore per film. Most of his recent films have bombed at the box office, but he is not going down on his remuneration.

The case with other heroes like Varun Tej and Gopichand, who are still charging in the range of ₹10 crore per film. Even Nithiin is reportedly charging in the range of Rs 9-10 crore per film.

Even Sharwanand is reportedly quoting around rupees 10 crore per film. He is also not going down when it comes to remuneration, despite the lack of his box office performance.

It is evident that the next grade of Tollywood heroes are also not willing to go down on their termination, despite the recent track record as they are still looking to make the most of the season.

At a time when there is already a lot of pressure on producers with regard to large production scales and related activities, these stars are continuing to charge big money.
