Movies like 'Guntur Karam' and 'Hanuman' are the only big projects that arrived till date. Among them, 'Hanuman' is the film that created an impact all over the nation and became a blockbuster. While 'Tillu Square' minted around 125 crores, Vijay Deverakonda's 'Family Star' turned out to be a disaster. There are a few notable releases in May like 'Gangs Of Godavari' but the election fever has completely overshadowed the movie releases.
But there is going to be a storm in Tollywood for the next six months. All the big heroes are arriving back-to-back and the theatres are going to be heavily busy. The first one to enter is Prabhas as he is getting ready to arrive with 'Kalki 2898 AD' on 27th June. Nag Ashwin is the director and there are huge expectations on it. There are reports that Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' will arrive on 13th June. Sources claim that Nandamuri Balakrishna's 109th film directed by Bobby will be hitting the screens in July.
Independence Day belongs to 'Pushpa: The Rule'. This massive and much-awaited project from Allu Arjun and Sukumar is arriving in theatres across the globe on the 15th of August. On 27th September, Pawan Kalyan's gangster action drama 'OG' will be released. Sujeeth is the director of this movie. On 10th October, 'Devara' will be hitting the screens. NTR is playing the lead while Koratala Siva is the writer and director. There is a huge hype on this movie.
Ram Charan and Shankar's 'Game Changer' is expected to be released in November. The official date is yet to be announced. Now, Pawan's period drama 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' too joined the list. This high-budget movie was made under the direction of Krish so far and Pawan will be seen as a warrior who fights against injustice. The teaser impressed the people and it is the first periodical film in Pawan's career. Let us see how many wonders all these flicks create at the box office.
