Trisha's Political Debut: Is Muhurtham Fixed?

Already earlier, it was thought that as TVK Chief Joseph Vijay would quit one of his seats, as he contested from two seats in Tamil Nadu, many thought that heroine Trisha Krishnan would contest as the TVF candidate and would make a foray into active politics. However, that didn’t happen, and all of Tamil Nadu has remained tight-lipped about her political moves at the moment.

However, superstar Vijay is said to be very keen to introduce Trisha into active politics as soon as possible. Though he wanted to make her contest from the Trichy East Assembly Seat, somehow that didn’t happen. Also, there’s talk that she might be given an MLC seat and would be sent to the upper house of Tamil Nadu state. Though Trisha expressed interest in politics long back, in recent times she hasn’t made any comment about it. Also, the actress was rumoured to have played a part in candidate selection for TVK’s electoral debut, though none have confirmed the same.

Practically, some rumours are popping up that Trisha’s political entry will happen only after the clarity comes regarding Vijay’s personal life, as he is battling through a divorce at the moment. His wife Sangeetha has asked for a divorce, alleging that Vijay is dating an actress and there’s a big battle for custody rights and other subjects too. Maybe once this sorts out, Vijay will focus on Trisha’s entry into politics.
