We never intended any disrespect to NTR - Varun Tej

Varun Tej's Korean Kankaraju released on a wide scale today and it is receiving great response from the premieres last night.Nearly 100 premiere shows across Telugu States have been housefulls and from morning shows, the word-of-mouth has been tremendously positive. The bookings have been huge ever since and movie is trending on BMS app. The team interacted with media looking at the huge response.

Director Merlapaka Gandhi addressed Sr. NTR trolls comments on social media and stated that they shot it on Satya to imitate in fun manner. He rejected any sort of malicious intent to troll legendary actor. He thanked audiences and stated that after Express Raja, this is much needed success for him.

Varun Tej stated that he was tensed prior to release but he is relieved and happy from the moment first responses started pouring in from premieres. He stated that after six years, he is happy to see such a big success in his career. He stated that audiences have been praising his performance, comedy scenes with Satya.

He further revealed that he feels his son, Vaayuv Tej, brought him luck as he found such a box office success post his birth. He expressed his gratitude to audiences who have watched the film. He further stated that Chiranjeevi has spoken for half-an-hour with him post release and he will soon watch the film.
