Varun's 'GA' Team Says It Is Not True!

Mega Prince Varun Tej is all set to impress the audience with his slick action flick titled 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna'. The movie is releasing on 25th August and the trailer raised the expectations on the movie a lot. The team has started giving interviews too and the pre-release event will be held today.

There are rumors going around that claim that the makers spent way more than what they actually planned. Gossip suggests that the film's budget went up to 55 crores and it is way above what Varun's films usually collect. They claimed that the lack of planning from Praveen Sattaru is the reason for it.

But the team stated that it is not at all true as the budget was around 40 crores and Praveen Sattaru completed the production in 53 days while they initially planned for 72 days. It looks like there is no truth in the rumours and the team is quite happy with the output. The movie is 136 minutes long and it got a 'U/A' certificate.

Talking about his character, Varun said, "I play bodyguard role in the film, and I help Nasser get what he was fighting for. I've been involved in fights, chases, and a lot of action for him."

About his director, Varun said, "Praveen Sattaru garu is a visionary director with a flawless plan. He worked the longest on pre-production to reduce shoot days, and we shot for 55-60 days. We did workshops and action rehearsals far in advance of the shoot." Billed to be an action thriller, the film is produced by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor of this movie which has a Hollywood feel to it. Mickey J Meyer gave the music while Sakshi Vaidya is the heroine.
