Laila’s ‘A’ Certificate Mystery: Vishwak Sen Teases Bold Surprise!

Vishwak Sen, who is eager for a much-needed blockbuster after back-to-back flops Gangs of Godavari and Mechanic Rocky, is leaving no stone unturned in promoting his upcoming film Laila. His statements have been making waves, and his latest revelation has added even more buzz to the film.

In a recent interview, Vishwak confirmed that Laila has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the censor board. He teased that audiences will understand the reason behind it only after watching the film. He emphasized that Laila is crafted to be a full-fledged entertainer, especially for the youth.

Talking about his role, Vishwak shared, “I carefully select scripts that can entertain a wide audience. When director Ram Narayan narrated Laila, I couldn’t stop laughing. I knew I had to do it. However, playing a character in a lady getup was a challenge. On set, I realized how tough it was. A dedicated team worked on my look, testing three different getups before finalizing one. We even waxed, grew our nails, and didn’t cut them until we wrapped those portions. It felt awkward at first, but I got used to it.”

Laila marks Vishwak Sen’s first film post-Mechanic Rocky, and it promises to showcase him like never before. The film follows Sonu, a model who owns a beauty salon and transforms into Laila, exploring the challenges and chaos that come with it. Directed by Ram Narayan and starring Aakanksha Sharma as the female lead, Laila is set to release on February 14 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. With promotional content already winning over the audience, the film’s pre-release event is scheduled for Sunday evening, raising anticipation even further.
