After making “The Kashmir Files”, director Vivek Agnihotri has become a sensation in India, and with the film collecting more than ₹340 crores at the box office, he has been the most talked about. While some called it propaganda, some called it the real story of the Kashmiri Pandits; somehow, the film made a huge noise in 2022. Though the director came up with The Vaccine Files later, it didn’t get a good reception.

In a latest announcement, the director, along with T-Series Bhushan Kumar, has announced that they are coming up with a movie on the recent Operation Sindhoor, India’s response to the terrorist nation Pakistan’s cowardly attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Based on the book “Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India's Deep Strikes,” written by retired Army officer Lt Gen KJS Tiny Dhillon, this film will be adapted according to the official statement provided by the director.

Reacting to the same, Vivek Agnihotri stated, “We don’t choose stories. Some stories would choose us”, as he is elated to carve out this patriotic film that would show how India has attacked the terrorist camps, including Lashkar-e-Toiba’s Hafiz Sayeed’s residence, and other places like Nur Khan airbase and another major military installation. The film will summarise what exactly happened after the Pahalgam incident, and how India designed its powerful response as per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement.
