Finally, A Young Director For Balakrishna Locked?

Even after delivering a superhit film like “Saripodha Sanivaram” with a happening star like Nani, director Vivek Athreya is still unable to lock his next film. The film was released in 2024, and since then, the director has been looking forward to locking a star hero. It looks like a senior hero is locked finally, and soon the announcement might come out.

Director Vivek Athreya and his producers, Mythri Movie Makers, have in fact tried for the likes of Superstar Rajnikanth, and then other stars like Kamal Haasan to bring in to their film. But for some reason, those combinations didn’t materialise. Finally, it is being heard that the buck stopped at Nandamuri Balakrishna. Insider reports are confirming that this combo is now happening without any hassles.

Already, Balakrishna has heard scripts from the likes of Koratala Siva and Vivek Athreya earlier, and it looks like he has opted for the young director’s film in view of his brilliant writing and Telugu-touch he gives. That would be a great shift in terms of approaching movies for Balakrishna, also as intelligent directors would be able to carve better films with him.
