By: Tupaki Desk | 17 April 2023 8:29 PM ISTThings are not going well with Indians living in the United States in recent times. They are passing away at regular intervals in accidents or attacks. The rise in such attacks is raising many concerns. On the other hand, Indians participate in adventure sports and others are also turning to disaster.
Giving another example, two Indians who went swimming underwater in the lake went missing. As they did not come back to shore, their friends sensed something wrong and called the rescue. The concerned authorities reached the spot and started a rescue operation that is underway.
Going into details, two Indian students Siddhant Shah, 19, and Arya Vaidya, 20 are students of the prestigious Indiana University. Along with their friends, they had gone to Monroe Lake for a small trip. After reaching a spot, they decided to explore swimming and jumped into the lake.
But the two did not come out after some time, making the friends sense something was wrong. They did not waste any time and informed the emergency service about the situation. They reached the spot along with the personnel to look for the Indian students.
The Rescue team is giving its best efforts to look for the students. The authorities also roped in scuba divers for the search. However, the rise in water level is said to have caused some trouble in searching for Indian students. It is said that there was a strong wave in the lake when the two jumped into the river for swimming. There are a few doubts that they might have been pulled away.
Their friends and family members are worried about this condition and are hoping that the rescue operation would give a positive outcome and they will be found at the earliest. Their families are living here and the students are living far away in America.
Besides continuing the rescue operation, the concerned authorities also sent back the remaining students to the University campus and urged them to not do such things again and explained to them the danger. It is also said that counseling was also given to them.
