A New Muslim leader Rises In BJP

There is a tussle between the Muslim leaders in the BJP. The tussle is who is the favourite of the party dispensation. Till now, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Shanawaz Hussain are the hottest favourites of the party, a new leader has emerged from nowhere.
He is Zafar-ul-Islam. This young Muslim leader has been put up as the BJP nominee for Rajya Sabha in place of the deceased Amar Singh. He would be a Rajya Sabha MP till Amar Singh's remaining term expires. Interestingly, due to Zafar, senior leader Shahnawaz Hussain has lost his chance to enter the Rajya Sabha. While Naqvi is already a minister, Shahnawaz hoped to become a minister if he was selected to the Rajya Sabha. But, the entry of Zafar has changed it all.
Zafar is originally a Congressman. He was with the AICC social media and was quite active in the party's IT wing. He worked for Haryana's Deepinder Singh Hooda also. However, he became disillusioned with the Congress and left the party. Later, he joined the BJP and the rest is history. His rise in the BJP has been very fast. Now he is a Rajya Sabha MP.
