After a Long Time, PM Modi and Chandrababu To Attend a Ceremony?
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Jun 2022 11:15 AM GMTTelugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party might not be on good terms now. But back then, both parties had a good friendship and TDP helped BJP when it needed the most. Both parties joined hands for an alliance for the 2014 polls and emerged victorious.
But the friendship between the parties ended when TDP came out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) before the 2019 polls. TDP pinned high hopes that by going against the BJP they might get to power. However, it backfired and the party ended up recording its worst-ever performance.
Now we might see Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Modi together. The BJP made big plans for the 125th birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju and a 30-ft bronze statue of the revolutionary will be unveiled at Bhimavaram by none other than Prime Minister.
Prominent people across the fields are being invited to the ceremony. Megastar Chiranjeevi was invited recently and it is the turn of Chandrababu Naidu to receive the invitation. A letter inviting Chandrababu Naidu was sent from the office of Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy.
Now the ball is in Chandrababu Naidu's court. Will he accept the invitation and share the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi or will he send someone on his behalf is the new question heer.
