The Kashmir valley saw many attacks and atrocities towards Hindus. The spine-chilling atrocities they faced were such that they fled the valley in fear. Even after removing Article 370 the attacks towards Hindus mainly Pandits did not stop. Earlier we have seen how Pandit working as a Bank employee was shot dead.

The Kashmir pandits genocide started in the early 1980s and lasted for a few decades. The Hindus living in the valley migrated to other states like Maharashtra for safety. Thanks to Shiv Sena's Balasaheb Thackeray, the state provided reservations for Pandits in education and jobs.

Earlier Hindus had a tough time in the Kashmir region. But the situation turned fearsome in Jammu too. Jammu region which used to be peaceful and calm saw terror attacks. Shockingly the attacks are dubbed targeted Hindu killings.

As per the media reports, a few gunmen barged into the houses in the Rajouri region in Jammu. It has been widely reported that the gunmen reportedly asked for the identities of the victims. Reportedly the gunmen asked for their Aadhaar cards. Having been satisfied that the victims were Hindus, the gunmen killed them.

The alleged attacks took place at around 7 PM on Sunday. The attacks happened at nearby houses. After attacking a house in the Upper Dangri region, the gunmen went on to other houses and opened fire. It is said that five people died in this and a few others sustained serious injuries.

The Army officers swung into action and launched a search operation to nab the accused. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for further treatment. More details about their condition are awaited.

Media reports said that the attack lasted for just 10 minutes and after the attack, the gunmen left the place. The motto behind the attack is not known yet. The concerned authorities are busy looking for the suspects. While four people passed away five victims sustained injuries.

The Local Police started a joint operation with the help of the Army and Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) to arrest the suspects. Security was increased in the village as a safety measure.
