After Operation Kuppam,YS Jagan begins Operation Mangalagiri!!

Has AP Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started his "operation Mangalagiri"? Has he begun check-mating the Telugu Desam party and its general secretary Nara Lokesh? Is he putting in place a strategy to deny any political space to the Telugu Desam in Mangalagiri? Will there be a strategy similar to the one being implemented in Kuppam assembly constituency?
Amid reports that Nara Lokesh is going to contest from Mangalagiri in the 2024 elections, the YSRCP has begun eroding the TDP base in the constituency. It may be recalled that Nara Lokesh lost to Alla Ramakrishna Reddy of the YSRCP in the 2019 elections. However, Lokesh has decided to contest from Mangalagiri only. This means, the YSRCP has to come up with a strong strategy to defeat him a second time .
The YSRCP has weaned away senior TDP leader Murugudu Hanumantha Rao. Soon after joining the YSRCP, he was made an MLC. Rao has considerable sway over the BC votes. Giving MLC post to Rao could hit at the root of the TDP support base. Similarly, Ganjii Chiranjeevi, who is from the weavers' community, has joined the YSRCP.
Chiranjeevi is a strong candidate and gave a tough fight to Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in the 2014 elections. With Lokesh contesting in 2019, Chiranjeevi's political career has hit a roadblock. Now that it has become certain that Lokesh may contest in 2024 too, Ganji Chiranjeevi has joined the YSRCP. Locally powerful, Chiranjeevi issure to give Lokesh run for his money in 2024 elections.
