Films & Politics are inseparable, especially in Southern India. We have seen a lot of stars from NTR to Chiranjeevi, MGR & Jayalalithaa to Khushboo try their luck in Political arena.
If the buzz is to be believed, Tamil star Ajith will be entering active politics by joining the National party BJP. It is being rumored that he would officially join BJP in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In Tamil Nadu, Only Regional Parties have been voted to power since decades. Either AIADMK or DMK ruled the state till date and neither Congress nor BJP could create an impact they always dreamt of! Since 2014, BJP Leadership is trying its best to strengthen the party down South and trying to rope as many celebrities for accomplishing the mission.
Earlier, Rajinikanth was lured by the BJP Leadership but the ploy didn't work out as Superstar called off his plans to join Politics. Now, There were reports of Tamil Nadu BJP unit wooing Ajith who enjoys immense following among all age groups.
