Another Controversy Hits TTD, Actress Alleges Mistreatment!

The holy shrine of Tirupati has been hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons. On multiple occasions, this happened. From allowing supporters of leaders to have darshan without hassle to making devotees wait in queues, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has been seeing many controversies.

Recently, a few media reports said that a person with liquor bottles was arrested outside the Padamavati Guest house by the cops. After searching him the cops reportedly found liquor bottles and sent him to the police station. Man roaming with the Liquor bottles near the guest house is not a small thing. A few Hindu outfits even held protests.

Now another controversy popped up. A young actress alleged that in the name of Dharma, people are getting robbed here. She made these comments while alleging that she was asked to pay a sum of Rs 10,500 to have a Darshan despite having a darshan ticket.

Actress Archana Gautam in her selfie video alleged that she was mistreated by some people. As per her version, she took a darshan ticket, but the time of darshan was not mentioned on it. At the counter, she was reportedly asked to pay a sum of Rs 10,500 to have a darshan.

Expressing shock over what happened, the actress recorded a video, which reportedly shows someone tried to stop her from recording the video. She also urged the Andhra Pradesh government to look into the matter and take strict action against the culprits.

It has to be mentioned here that, of late many devotees are alleging that the ticket rates are being increased and they are forced to pay a big amount for the tickets to have the darshan of the lord. The TTD is reportedly issuing tickets of fewer prices in small numbers and the devotees are left with no option of buying the costly tickets.

As if the controversies are not enough, a fresh controversy erupted. Popular actress Archana Gautam who even tried her luck in the elections now alleged that she was asked to pay money. Many Hindu outfits are alleging that all these things are bringing a bad name to the shrine.
