Another cop trying to enter politics in Anantapur?

Cops joining politics is nothing new in Anantapur. In the past too, popular cops shed Khaki for Khadi and donned political roles. After Gorantla Madhav and Iqbal, another police officer from Anantapur district is said to be planning to enter politics. He has already begun making his political moves.
If sources are to be believed, a CI currently working in the district has begun working to take up a political job. He wants to quit the police and join politics. He has reportedly launched several service activities in the district to reach out to the people. Meanwhile, the political class and the police bosses reportedly have sought reports about his activities in the district.
In fact, it all began with Goranta Madhav. Gorantla, a hugely popular police CI has taken on the JC brothers and famously twirled his mustache daring them the politically powerful JC brothers. He was also a top leader of the Police Officers' Association. He later joined the YSRCP and became an MP from Hindupur.
Another senior police officer Iqbal too has joined politics after retiring from his job. He joined the YSRCP and was later made the MLC. With both these police officials joining politics, several other police officials are now trying to join politics. But, this CI in question reportedly began his ground work already. Let's wait and see how things pan out for this officer.
