Despite failing multiple times, the Andhra Pradesh wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party is not leaving any stone unturned to spread its wings in the state. The saffron party is making intense efforts on Mission Andhra Pradesh. Though it could not win the Tirupati by-polls, BJP had managed to get an encouraging percent of votes.

Now the party has its eyes on the upcoming Atmakur by-polls. The lotus party took the polls seriously and is giving its best to win the same. The much-awaited by-election will be held later this month and all the parties are busy making plans to increase their winning chances.

Going by its style of using popular faces for the campaign, a few stat campaigners were finalized. It is said that yesteryear superstar, Rajya Sabha member Jayaprada is also one of the star campaigners who will campaign for the saffron party for the by-elections.

As the election date is fast approaching, the BJP is aggressively campaigning for the polls. Every day, one leader will participate in a door-to-door campaign and request the voters to vote for the party. One day was reportedly reserved for Jayaprada.

As Jayaprada is a known face and has good speaking skills the BJP is hoping that she can help the party register its maiden election win in the state. We have to wait and see what Jayaprada can do for her party.

It has to be mentioned here that Jayaprada recently said that she wants to serve the people of both Telugu states as he is a Telugu person and based on the success she had here, she got to work in other places. Weeks after saying the same, she was roped in for the Atmakur campaign.

After having a successful acting career, Jayaprada forayed into politics and joined the Telugu Desam Party after she was invited by the late NTR. She contested as an MP from Rajahmundry, her native place, and won twice.

Jayaprada had issues with TDP and left the party. Lawyer, she shifted her focus to Uttar Pradesh politics and aggressively campaigned for various parties. She earlier worked with Samajwadi Party (SP) and Rashtriya Lok Manch. Back in 2019, she joined the BJP.
