New Cancer Hospital in Tulluru - Balakrishna

He is the Chairperson of the board of directors, administration wise and he is running the hospital as a charity from NTR Trust to help many poor and economically backward people who fell prey to the dangerous cancer disease.
On Republic Day, he hoisted the Indian Flag at Hyderabad and announced that the new wing will be started in Tulluru.
"The foundation stone will be laid next month and in two years the building will be completed. Andhra Pradesh Government has given us 15 acres of land for the construction and we are extremely thankful to the support given by Telangana and AP Governments in running the cancer hospital successfully," said the actor and politician, Balakrishna.
He also expressed that nobody is a guest at Flag hoisting function as everyone is equal in front of National Flag. He promised to continue the free service that the hospital provides to poor even in the future at 69th Republic Day functions.
