Balakrishna constituency in 2014 Polls confirmed
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Feb 2014 11:54 AM GMTAs soon as Nandamuri Balakrishna annouced his plans to enter the electoral politics, Entire focus shifted to the constituency he will be contesting in 2014 polls. The buzz in political circles since few months is that he will be choosing either Krishna or Anantapur districts. Finally, a clarity has come on the constituency of our Nandamuri Hero.
As per the reliable sources, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu reserved the Hindupur seat to Balakrishna and asked the sitting MLA Abdul Gani to leave hopes of retaining the seat in 2014 elections. Naidu assured to Mr. Gani that he would be alloted some other constituency as his brother-in-law is keen on contesting from Hindupur.
Hindupur in Anantapur district is the bastion of TDP and its the constituency represented by party founder and former chief minister late NT Rama Rao. If Balakrishna contests from Hindupur, Opponents will surely loose deposits and a record victory is expected.
