Nandamuri scion Balakrishna is riding high on the success of his recent outing Akhanda which was released earlier this month. The action thriller had struck gold at the box office with record collections from all over. The gravity-defying fights in the film need special mention that made fans go gaga in the theaters.

To celebrate the massive hit of Akhanda, the team including Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna are on a spree of visiting the famous religious place across the Telugu states. Earlier, the team visited the popular Kanaka Durga temple in the temple city Vijayawada.

Earlier today, team Akhanda visited the holy shrine of Lord Narasimha Swamy in Telangana, Yadadri. They offered their prayers to the presiding deity on the occasion for blessing them with a stunning hit. After offering prayers, Akhanda star Nandamuri Balakrishna addressed the media outside the temple.

Balakrishna took the opportunity to shower praises on Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao who is renovating the historic temple in a grand way. The way the temple is being renovated is outstanding, he said.

With the Chief Minister's initiative, the renovation works are going at a good pace. Yadadri temple will remain historic. The surroundings of the temple should not be spoiled. We are visiting the famous pilgrimages with Akhanda success. As part of this, we are here to visit the Yadadri temple. YadagiriGutta temple is a wonderful temple and everyone should take the responsibility of safeguarding the Hindu Dharma, Balakrishna said.

Balakrishna scored a career-best hit with Akhanda. With the current sensation, Balakrishna once again proved that he has the capability and potential of pulling -off any role that comes his way. The Aghora character is the main highlight of the film and he stole the show with his stellar performance. He carried the film on his shoulders.

For Akhanda, Balakrishna, Boyapati Sruni collaborated for the third time after Simha and Legend. The director hit the bull's eye as he had projected Balakrishna as how the fans wanted. Miryala Ravinder Reddy produced Akhanda under the Dwaraka creations banner and tall beauty Pragya Jaiswal paired opposite Balakrishna in the money-spinner.
