Nandamuri Balakrishna has been offering free cancer treatment to the poor since years through Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital which was named after his mother. The hospital has gone a step ahead now with its latest move to come much closer to the people.

Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital has renovated the Mobile Cancer Diagnostic bus which was brought to the city in the year 2004. Latest equipment like Mammography 1000 and Ultrasound with Color Doppler have been arranged in this vehicle.

Balayya inaugurated this vehicle which costed the management Rs 42 lakhs. On this occasion, He reiterated a new branch of Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital will be arranged in AP as well.
